The Lincolnshire Junior Autumn League has reached the play-off stages, with Boston Tennis Club youngsters involved in the action.
In the under 12 boys section, Boston A’s Will Cheer, Harvey Piggins, Will Lakin and Reece Anderson-Doherty were pipped by Boston B’s Thomas Mecklenburgh, Max Mecklenburgh, Ben Robson and Thomas Piggins in a shoot-out decider, meaning the B will now play Rustons in the final.
The under 12 girls - Louise Sharp and Alice Gamman - won a group match without dropping a rubber against Tennis Buddies.
In the Boston and District Winter League, Boston A’s Connall Newton, William Cheer, Matthew Cheer and Trent Hutson went down 2.5-1.5 against Boston E’s Robert Bonser, Richard Tupper, James Dixon and Ben Ray.
Boston B earned a winning draw against Woodhall Spa, with Andy Clamp, Terry Mastin, Sev Smura and Mary Smura claimed the edge on games countback.
Boston C’s Dan Bambridge, Anthony Hulley, James Newton and Ryan Frankish won 4-0 at Horncastle and only dropped one set at Billinghay.
Boston F enjoyed a 4-0 result over Boston D. Zach McDonnell-Woods, Richard Woods, Zafar Khan and Toby McDonnell-Woods represented the F, against Pawel Arann, Simon Buchanan, Michal Chmielik and Sabina Karpicka.
Boston D also claimed a win against Horncastle thanks to Penny Gibbons, Richard Cozens, Simon Beardsley and Thomas Cozens.
