CALLUM Johnson will have his first professional fight in England this summer.
The 25-year-old light heavyweight - who won gold at last year’s Commonwealth Games - will box a yet-to-be-named opponent in Liverpool on July 16.
The undefeated Boston fighter has previously beaten Jody Meikle and Phillip Townley, since turning pro.
However, both bouts were in Glasgow as promoter Frank Warren wanted to get the Scottish crowd behind him, after he won his Commonwealth Gold representing the nation.
He qualified through a Scottish grandmother.
