Boston-area riders tasted success as the Wainfleet and District Sporting Motorcycle Club held the Robert Chatterton Trophy Super Speedtrack.
In the 1000cc Sidecar event, the club’s own Colin Blackbourn, from Friskney, with passenger Carl Pugh, led every race from start to finish.
In second were Peter Lloyd and Terry Madley while third place was taken by Simon Heal and Jay Perking on Sunday.
In the youth programme, Wrangle’s Mickie Simpson was first in the Motorcross 65 class and second in the Junior Grasstrack class.
In the 500cc Solo class, first place went to Rob Finlow, from Kidderminster, with Ben Millichip (Tenbury) second and Andrew Whitaker (Dewsbury) third.
In the 350cc class, Manchester’s Andy Mellish took the honours from Bob Dolman (Kent) and Edward Bales (Norwich).
As ever, the 250cc Solo class produced some top class racing, former British Masters champion David Knowles was the winner, with Trevor Clarricoats (Nothamptonshire) second and Mark Williams (Hull) third.
In the junior races, the Auto Cadet Class (six-eight-year- olds) was won in impressive style by Luke Harrison.
Max Perry took the Cadet Class and in the junior (nine-11 years), Harry McGurk took the win from local Mickie Simpson and Jake Mulford was third.
Henry Atkins took the intermediate title from Josh Parnell Hylton and Milo Griggs.
The club’s next event is the David Nix Memorial meeting on July 5, followed by the International Lincolnshire Poacher on August 30.
