The final races in the Boston and District Athletic Club 2016-17 series of Junior Cross Country Races were held over the Punchbowl Lane meadow courses on Saturday.
The school years one and two event over 600m saw Toby Maude (Bicker Prep School) win with a five-second margin, recording 2 mins 20 secs.
He was followed home by Lea Frick (BADAC) in 2 mins 25 secs and third-placed Charlie Stevens (Bicker Prep) a further five seconds behind.
The years three and four contestants ran over a distance of approximately 1,400m, with Rhys Buswell (BADAC) first in 6 mins 19 secs, ahead of runner-up James Leates (BADAC) in 6 mins 22 secs an dthird-placed Jessica Frick (BADAC) in 6 mins 25 secs.
The oldest competitors in the years five and six race set off at a sensible rate over their 1,600m course.
James Burrell (Bicker Prep) confidently moved forward to head the field and win in 8 mins 32 secs.
In second was Alex Frick (BADAC) with 8 mins 39 secs, while Matthew Lewis (BADAC) was third in 9 mins 09 secs.
