Two Boston Rowing Club members have claimed national indoor medals.
Year nine Bunty Blanshard finished in first place in her category at the National Junior Indoor Rowing Championships at London’s Lee Valley Athletics Centre.
Her rowing crewmate Maddie Lambe recorded a top 30 finish too.
Lucie Scott used her experience in the competition well, claiming a silver in the year 10 section.
James Toynton was eighth in the year eight boys’ event, while crewmate Alex Leverage, competing for the first time, achieved 24th place.
Oliver Tunnard took 10th in the year 10 boys and Harry Barr was placed 12th in the year 12 category, where he recorded a personal best performance.
Boston RC competitors took part in inter-regional trials in Nottingham on Sunday.
Ruby and Jasmine Latka won the WJ14 2x for the second year running while Lucie Scott was selected in the WJ15 1x team.
Oliver Tunnard and Jacques Gavey were picked for the squad in the J15 2x, as were the J14 4x+ team from Boston.
The selected athletes will represent the East Midlands at a regatta on April 25.
