Aaron Clarke, from Kirton, pictured above, recorded a brace of wins, as well as a second and four third places in his races at Cadwell Park in the Derby Phoenix club round held at the Lincolnshire circuit over the weekend.
Aaron usually rides in the National Superstock 600 series that runs as a support class to the British Superbike Championship but his class is not on the programme for the round at Assen this weekend. This meant Clarke would not have had a race for four weeks and because of the need for continuity he decided to enter the races at Cadwell.
He claimed three third places and a second in the 600 class and went on to record two wins and a third place in the Allcomers Open class race. In the final 600 race the 19 year old set his fastest ever lap around the course with a 1m.32.22s which smashed his personal best time by a massive 1.35s.
Aaron was delighted with his results and said: “It was a mega weekend at Cadwell. I had some awesome races and came home with lots of silverware.”
He returns to action in the Stock 600 championship at Silverstone on October.
