Sunday saw the Lincolnshire Road Riding Association’s 10-Mile TT Championship, hosted by Alford Wheelers at The National Trust’s Gunby Hall.
Clubs and teams from across the County fielded 95 riders on the rolling C10/9 course on the A1028 towards Ulceby Cross.
Velo-One entered six riders to the event with great results in the team and individual placings.
Neil Palmer and Antony Gough were split only by two seconds, taking second and third in the individual standings with 20 mins 40 secs and 20 mins 42 secs respectively.
His time was also a personal best for Antony.
In his first race, returning from a broken collarbone, Joshua Wallis posted a time of 22 mins 42 secs, finishing in the top 25.
David Anderson (23 mins 58 secs) and Dan Carr (24 mins 02 secs) placed in the top 40.
Scott Francis posted a time of 25 mins 24 secs, delivering another personal best and taking third place in the handicap standings.
The icing on the cake was Velo-One taking the team prize with the fastest three combined times, the team’s first win.
The next LRRA event is the 50-Mile TT Championship on Saturday, June 11.
