Ben Wilson will travel to Donington Park for round nine of the British Supersport championship, looking to build on his Cadwell Park success.
Wilson recorded a race win and a second place in the two rounds at the Lincolnshire circuit over the August Bank Holiday weekend.
That allowed him to close the gap on series leader - and Gearlink Kawasaki teammate - Alastair Seeley, as well as second-placed Stuart Easton.
However, he now heads off to Leicestershire looking to right some wrongs.
After two non-finishes in last year’s races at Donington, Wilson, from Kirton, will be seeking two top results to add to his points tally, and edge closer to the runner up spot in this year’s championship.
The weekend begins with free practice at 9.35am on Friday, followed by a second free session at 1.55pm that afternoon.
The solitary qualifying session is scheduled for 11.05am on Saturday morning, with the results setting the grid for the 12-lap sprint race at 3.40pm.
The rider setting the fastest lap in the sprint race will take pole position for Sunday’s feature race, which will run over 18 laps at 3.40pm.
Wilson said: “I was really pleased with my results from Cadwell last week, but I will not be resting on my laurels because there is more work to be done at Donington.
“I need to score as many points as possible to reel in the two leaders in the championship.”
Seeley leads the series on 303 points, with Easton trailing by 22.
Wilson is on 250 points.
