Ben Wilson will undergo a medical before the final round of the MCE British Superbike championships at Brands Hatch this weekend.
The Kirton rider pulled out of the previous round at Silverstone after a crash in free practice left him with concussion and blurred vision.
Wilson is expected to return to the track this weekend, although he will be subjected to a medical by track officials to make sure he is fully fit to race.
Wilson, who returned to the Superbike championships this year with Gearlink Kawasaki, is currently in 20th spot in the rider standings.
He is expected to take part in the final three races of the season this weekend, beginning with free practice sessions at 10.10am and 2.35pm on Friday.
This wil be followed by the third free practice session on Saturday morning, from 9.35am while qualifying takes place at 12.15pm, followed by race one (18 laps) at 3.45pm.
The season concludes on Sunday with the warm up at 10am, before race two (20 laps) at 12.30pm and race three (20 laps) at 4pm.
