Ben Wilson heads to Brands Hatch in Kent this weekend for the final round of the 2015 British Supersport championship where he will be seeking two top results to end his season on a high note.
This year has not gone strictly to plan for the Kirton based rider, who was all set to challenge for the title. But some of the young guns on faster machinery have put paid to that, and for the majority of the season Wilson has finished his races in sixth place.
He had resurgence in the penultimate round at Silverstone when he scored his best result of the season with a fine fourth place in the feature race and he will be anxious to replicate or improve on this in the two races at Brands Hatch.
He would like to end his season with a couple of podium finishes at the Kent circuit, which will stand him in good stead as he seeks a ride for the 2016 season.
There are two free practice sessions on Friday at 9.35am and 2pm, followed by qualifying on Saturday at 11.35am which sets the grid for the 10 lap sprint race that commences at 16.30pm.
There is an eight minute warm-up on Sunday followed by the 18 lap feature race that is set for a 3pm start.
