Jordan Wrisdale marked his first Challenge Tour event in style - finishing in joint 17th place.

The Boston youngster, who is in his first year as a professional, finished 11 under par at the Red Sea Egyptian Challenge, hosted by Hassan Allam Properties.

Rounds of 67 and 72 on the 72-par Sokhna Golf Club course in Suez saw Wrisdale make the cut.

He then went on to record rounds of 68 and 70 to finish level with eight other competitors, each taking home a cheque for 1,970 Euros.

Things didn’t go as well for fellow Bostonian Dave Coupland.

Rounds of 72 and 76 saw him fail to make the cut.
