The Peterborough Junior Regatta is the only regatta in the UK catering solely for under 14s.
This worked well for Boston as the club are lucky enough to have a huge pool of talent in this age range, and that meant members impressed on the water.
The experienced hands of Dingo Summerfield, Lucie Scott and Ruby and Jasmine Latka geared up for some hot racing.
The Latka twins came second in their composite 4x with fellow rowers from Newark.
They were beaten by Henley junior champions Headington School in a nail-biting finish. The adrenaline fuelled them on in their 2x as they stormed to victory.
Dingo ended up in what was essentially the British Championship J14 1x final and came eighth overall.
Lucie (pictured) finished a strong fourth in her new Ultraviolet boat.
Caitlin Smart and Phoebe Raine had a great row in the w j14 2x event.
They just missed out on a final spot in their first ever race.
Oliver Tunnard and Jacques Garveey had been troubled with injury of late, but rowed very well in the J14 2x category.
Ted Pitman was in the J13 1x contest, and sculled to an excellent fourth place.
Sophie Raine competed in the girls’ equivalent and gained great experience.
Next up for Boston Rowing Club will be the two-day Burton on Trent regatta on July 12-13.
