Boston Bowls Club got their season started with a comprehensive 10-0 victory at home to Stickney in Division One of the Boston and Skegness EBA Bowls League.

Scott Whyers, Richard Lewis and Rod West were the victorious skips.

Skegness Foreshore earned an 8-2 home victory.

Jeff Skelton won for Wrangle but Gary Kitchen and Paul Hudson won for the home side.

Burton House claimed two 10-0 victories in their double week, beating Friskney at home and winning away at Suncastle.

Sleaford Road continued their 100 per cent winning start with a victory over West End.

In Division Two, I. Dilley and M. Stray skipped winning rinks for Freiston, giving them an 8-2 victory over Skegness Town. J. Utnage responded for the Town.

Kirton travelled to Horncastle and gave them a scare, winning one rink skipped by S. Lawrence by one shot.

There was also a draw between D. Wells and D. Gill but Horncastle claimed the aggregate and a 7-3 victory with a three-shot win by T. Nunn’s rink.

From the previous rink, Kirton lost 8-2 to Sibsey with husband and wife skips Sue and Dave Bridges of Sibsey cancelling out D. Gill’s rink win for Kirton.
