Nice Tri for lockdown
Competitors have taken part in is virtual duathlons with other clubs from the area, which has seen them running and cycling set distances over three days, ensuring members were abiding by the early rules only exercising outside once a day.
Members results were then posted online and collated. These great fun virtual events kept the club motivated and engaging with others online.

Hide AdSkegness Tri club have also organised run and cycling sprint events called Challenge 19.
Members had to run or walk and cycle as far as they could for 19 minutes.
These were held over separate weekends.
Again it was a bit of fun and the club actively encouraged family members and children to take part.
Also on the list was a 12-hour turbo relay challenge with a live feed on social media.

Hide AdTwelve members took it in turns to turbo or exercise bike for an hour.
There were many sweaty faces but some great comments of encouragement too.
The event ran from 7am to 7pm.
Tri athletes Pete Nicholls and Ashley Epton have done live feeds of core and strength workouts online for members to join in which have proven popular, as have Zoom quiz nights.
