Sleaford Road remain in the driving seat in the Boston and Skegness EBA Bowls League.

They have games in hand after all the top clubs had 8-2 victories.

Sleaford Road defeated Stickney on their own green but Roy Rout’s rink got the two points for the home side whilst Les Feary and Chris Gill’s rinks secured the rink and aggregate win for the visitors.

Foreshore had two 8-2 victories, one away to Boston Bowls Club, and then a home victory against Suncastle.

Burton House had an 8-2 victory away to Wrangle with Mick Asplen and Graham Porter’s rinks outweighing the home rink win of Ian Drury.

Friskney are consolidating their position in the league after a 8-2 home victory over Stickney, Alan Brummitt and Ernie Elkington skipping winning rinks and Richard Maxwell’s rink responding for Stickney.

West End are also moving away from the relegation area after a 10-0 home victory over Wrangle and an 8-2 away win at Suncastle.

Mareham caused a major upset when beating Horncastle 9-1, but then lost 10-0 to Sibsey on their own green.

Horncastle bounced back with a 10-0 victory at home to struggling Skegness Town.

Freiston are in pole position having recorded a 8-2 victory at home to Forbes Road.

Kirton have also beaten Horncastle who seem to be struggling on the road, Dave Gill and Stan Lawrence skipping winning rinks in the 8-2 victory.

Steve Boucher picked up the two points for Horncastle.
