Successful black belt grading for four Kuk Sool Won Boston students

Alice Katugampola, Isabel Groves(pictured), Ben Smith and Riya Rambani graded for four hours their final testing before being promoted in front of their families.

Riya and Ben both became black belts while Alice and Isabel were promoted to second degree black belts.

For Alice this was a special moment, having promoted to first degree in her early teens before taking a break from her training to focus on her education and career in the medical profession.

Years later she returned to Boston and rejoined the Kuk Sool Won school.

After spending over a year re-learning all the under black syllabus, she started on her first degree status.

Alice is the first person to come back and continue her training to achieve and promote to a higher black belt.
