Park men defeated, despite all-round effort from Lamyman


Graves Park Cricket Club were beaten by three wickets at Alford and District on Sunday.

Opener Jon Lamyman’s 39 runs was the stand-out performance for the Park batsmen in this East Lindsey League contest, before he was dismissed by bowler Joe Irving.

Fellow openber Chris King was the only other player to reach double figures as he recorded 13 runs.

The Park were dismissed for 108 runs in the 38th over.

In response, Alford reached their winning total of 110 with three wickets to spare in the 25th over.

Lamyman took four host wickets for the loss of 18 runs from his eight overs.

Other wickets fell to Martin Hodgson (2-26-8) and Steve Clements (1-36-4).
