Boston Rugby Club suffered a 19-5 defeat at Aylestone St James on Saturday.
The Blue and Whites remain six points ahead of the bottom two.
However, the defeat has seen Boston stretch theirlosing streak to three consecutive contests in the Midlands 3 East (North).
Boston currently sit in 10th spot in the standings with a six-point advantage over Nottinghamians and nine points over basement side Sleaford.
They are now hoping to return to winning ways on Saturday. The Blue and Whites host eighth-placed Belper, who have won their last three matches, at the Boardsides (KO 3pm).
