Boston RFC Firsts slipped to a second successive defeat when beaten 25-12 by Kesteven.
They paid the price for a series of individual errors and a lacklustre first-half performance.
Kesteven put themselves in an unassailable half-time position as Boston crumbled.
Boston played much better after the break and scored through Jaz Cowern, who was a threat all afternoon, and Lewis Eldin stretched to touch down a try that was converted by Will Scupham.
But it was too little too late for Boston.

The early pressure came from the visitors, who went ahead with a try in the corner, but Rob Linnell then evaded several tackles before offloading to John Fowlie to go over.
Another surging run from Linnell was supported by Boston stalwart Nigel Lane who fed winger Callum McNulty to sprint down the side line to score under the posts.
McNulty added the extra points to bring the score to 12-5.
The visitors responded with two tries to take a narrow lead but full-back Zac Chapman showed great skill in evading tackles before running in a score from 25 metres out.
McNulty again added the conversion to take Boston into a 19-17 half-time lead.
The second half started well for Boston, who were awarded a penalty which McNulty nailed from 30 metres.
Lacklustre tackling allowed the visitors to level but Boston went back in front when winger Callum Lawson dashed 75 yards to score a fine solo effort.
Kesteven made it 29-29 with 10 minutes remaining and they completed the comeback when going over in the final two minutes.
