Boston Rugby Club were handed five points after Saturday’s scheduled fixture against Amber Valley did not go ahead.

The Midlands 3 East (North) strugglers announced on Friday they could not field a full team in this fixture, which had already been re-arranged for similar reasons.

This means the Blue and Whites, currently in sixth place, were handed a walkover and five league points.

On Saturday, Boston entertain second-placed Southwell and will be looking for revenge as they lost earlier in the season (KO 2.15pm).
