The Boston Buccaneers have capped of their debut season by reaching the Midlands Merit League final.
The newly-formed club - which is playing its debut season at the Princess Royal Sports Arena - will face Buxton Bulls in Buxton on August 30.
Reaching the final has been a bittersweet process for the Rugby League set-up.
Despite things going well off the pitch - and a number of Boston-area players joining the squad - a series of postponed and cancelled matches, due to opposition sides being unable to fulfil their fixtures, means the team have not played the number of contests they had hoped to by this stage.
However, the Buccs did take on RAF Coningsby in a training match last Wednesday, which Coningsby won 48-26.
