The Boston Buccaneers will face yet another blank week in the Midlands Premier Division.

The Rugby League outfit were due to travel to face the Birmingham Bulldogs on Saturday, but the game has been scrapped after their hosts pulled out of the league.

It is another blow for the club who failed to face Derby City at the weekend as their opponents were unable to raise a side.

This means the Buccs - who defeated Derby 46-32 earlier in the campaign - were awarded a 24-0 victory.

Boston currently sit in sixth spot in the 12-team table.

They will now travel to Telford on July 25.
