Boston Rugby Club face a crunch clash at Skegness on Saturday - which could decide which team lifts the Midlands 4 East (North) title.

The Blue and Whites maintained their 100 per cent record in league action as they defeated Nottinghamians 36-19 at the Boardsides on Saturday.

Picking up the bonus point was enough to see Willem Jonker’s men regain top spot from their east coast rivals, who won 6-3 at Long Eaton.

Boston are only above their county rivals by the virtue of points difference, although they do have a game in hand on their foes.

Saturday’s clash kicks off at Wainfleet Road, Skegness, at 2.15pm.

Sitting at the summit is a phenomenal achievement for promoted Boston, who began the season with a 12-point deduction.
