BOSTON man Dennis Tebbs enjoyed an exclusive break to meet players from Bath Rugby Club and take a brewery tour, after winning a competition by Wadworth, one of the club’s key sponsors.
“I couldn’t believe my luck. I never expected to win and I thoroughly enjoyed learning more about both professional rugby and real ale,” said Mr Tebbs.
The competition prize included a look around Bath Rugby Club and a chance to watch the captain’s run and meet some of the team.
The captain’s run is a training session run by the team’s captain rather than the coach, and is traditionally held the day before a Premiership game.
The trip to watch Bath Rugby training was followed by a tour of the Wadworth brewery and visitor centre in Devizes, Wiltshire.
The climax to the winning break was a pair of tickets to see a game against Harlequins.
