Seventh annual Sherwood Pines Trail Races set to be biggest yet
Sherwood Pines Forest will host the event on 21st July, with a variety of runners involved, from fun runners to amateurs and club members.
Trophies and prizes are available in both the 10k and 5k races, including £120 worth of Go-Ape vouchers, and spot prizes from race sponsors Blizard Physiotherapy and The Lincolnshire Runner.

The fun runs are free to enter but fun runners are encouraged to make a small donation to Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice.
David Corbett from Retford Athletic Club is the Race Director and co-organiser of this year’s event.
He said: “Sherwood Pines is a brilliant location for the races, which are completely traffic free, and we’re delighted to have had so many runners already sign up for the event this year.”

“We’re also really grateful for the help and support from all our helpers and marshals, to the team at Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice, and to our sponsors.”
There’s still time to enter before the day, both online and by post, although the last day for postal entries is 17th July.
Some places may be available on the day.
