WYBERTON-based G&S Racing/Team Green celebrated their best ever results during racing at Snetterton on Sunday.
Tom Fisher rode to a fine eighth place in the Superstock 600 followed by Jono Howarth who rode to a personal best of ninth in the Superstock 1000.
Tom quickly got on terms with the new track layout and was running within the top 11 throughout free practice and qualifying. He completed his qualifying in 11th place and began his sixth round encounter from a third row grid position.
As the race got underway the Nottingham rider soon moved through to 10th place but the red flag brought things to a halt after just six of the scheduled 12 laps and a new race declared to run over five laps.
Fisher was quick off the starting grid and moved straight into eighth place but the race was short lived as the red flag once again came into play after three laps. This time a result was declared and Tom was awarded eighth position and eight championship points.
Jono had to wait until the end of the day to get his race underway. He began the 14 lap affair from a third row grid position in 10th place and was soon in the mix battling for position within a large group of riders.
He finally managed to get past Dan Johnson on lap five to move into 10th place and with a clear track ahead he got his head down and concentrated on catching Marshall Neill some five seconds ahead.
