Six Harriers in Notts Network team
The local kids took a number of personal best performances and helped the team to finish fourth overall.

Under 17 and 20 women: Victoria Page: discus (1st, 21.23), shot (1st, 7.84), hammer (2nd, 31.8); Bethany Platford: long jump (1st, 4.12), 300mH (4th, 57.5); Georgina Page: discus (1st, 25.06) hammer (2nd, 27.24), shot (2nd, 8.41).
The hot weather made for very difficult conditions for the Spire 10-mile road race at Chesterfield, where, nonetheless, the Harriers contingent finished as follows:Richard Eshleby (11th, 1:07:35), Richard Hind (21st 1:11:42), John Harrison: (61st, 1:21:54).
The Harriers home race in the Notts AAA Summer League takes place at Worksop College on 17th July.
