Sporting siblings Natasha and Mickie Simpson, from Wrangle, enjoyed success over the bank holiday weekend.
Thirteen-year-old Natasha took part in her first competition for Boston Gymnastics Academy at Wisbech, where she finished first in the vault, second in the bars and beam and third in the floor routine.
It was a performance that saw her take the overall points prize for her age group.
That put the pressure on younger brother, Mickie, to do well in the second round of the British Young Lions 125cc Speedway Championship at Scunthorpe on Bank Holiday Monday.
In a tough first race, where Mickie met two of the top boys in the class, he struggled for pace and came home in third.
His second outing saw him take a heat win, after which he finished second in his third ride against another of the leading riders. A further heat win in his fourth race of the day put Mickie level on points with three other riders, but he took the last spot in the final on countback with two race wins.
The final pitted Mickie against Joe Thompson, Jordan Palin, and Dan Thompson. As the tapes went up, Dan took the lead with Joe and Jordan running a little wider, allowing Mickie to cut back under them coming out off turn two.
He managed to remain there for the next four laps to finish second behind Dan.
