Spalding 1sts 187, Boston 2nds 47 - Spalding won by 140 runs.
Boston Seconds knew victory would keep their outside title hopes alive, but they were put to the sword by promotion-chasing Spalding.
Boston lost the toss and Spalding elected to bat, openers James Hook and Josh Newton coming out cautiously, Newton back in the pavilion following the masterful fielding of Dan Fox.
Things got worse for Spalding as Daniel Lumley dismissed Hafiz Majeed.
The arrival of Warren Nel (28) gave Spalding a platform, before Fox dismissed him and Hook (43).
However, some strong scores set Boston a target of 188 runs.
Luke Gilding (4-41), Fox (2-50), Lumley (1-29) and and Andy Hewitt (1-45) did ensure that Spalding were all out.
But with the bat, Boston could only muster 47 runs, Mahir Yousuff (10) the only player to make double figures.
On Saturday, Boston Seconds travel to face Woodhall Spa Seconds.
