Paul Cricket Club’s Second XI were beaten by four wickets when they hosted Billingborough Seconds on Saturday.
The home side posted a solid score of 224-9 at the end of their 45 overs in their South Lincs and Border League Division One match.
Michael Troops top scored with 59 runs, which included four fours and five sixes.
Other good totals were posted by Tom Poole (45), Tony Baxter (35) and Paul Tetther (23), while Herbert Usherwokunze chipped in with 12 runs.
However, Billingborough left Boston with victory after scoring 228-6 with 10 overs left to play.
Jack Tetther led the way for Boston with the ball.
He took three victims, while Matthew Poole added two wickets.
Tony Baxter added a run out.
There was better news for the Boston Thirds.
They earned a 52 run victory on Saturday at the expense of Grantham Thirds in their South Lincs and Border League Division Two clash.
Boston scored 163 for the loss of eight wickets.
Opener Dave Gilding led the way with 43 runs, while support came from Oliver Thurlby (33), Steve Elleray (16), William Tetther (10) and Sean Barnett (10).
The Boston bowlers dismissed Grantham for 111 within 29 overs.
Kevin Brooks led the way with five wickets while Tom Appleyard (three) and Steve Appleayard (one) also claimed victims.
