Youngsters' Wimbledon journeys
Encouraging young tennis players every year since 2002, in April, clubs, schools and parks across the UK have held their own HSBC Road to Wimbledon event, moving juniors through to the 44 County Finals and then to the National Finals at the All England Club.
Boston Tennis Club members Alice Gamman and William Cheer were the Boston Tennis Club representatives at the county finals of the 2016 HSBC Road to Wimbledon event held in Lincoln.

Although young for the competition, which is for 14 and under players, both William and Alice reached the semi-final stage - Alice losing out to Angela Halton William missing out to Archie Adams.
The bad weather is making things difficult for teams to complete matches in many of the leagues, and in the Boston and District Mixed League there is no exception.
However, some results have been finalised.
Boston Mixed One are unbeaten so far this season, while some of the other Boston teams are doing well.
