Graffiti warfare: New mural by Boston ‘Banksy’

The latest graffiti mural inspired by street artist Banksy has appeared in Boston this morning.

The image, depicting an armed soldier lying down and shooting red butterflies out of a gun, appeared in the town’s Mitre Lane early this morning.

An anonymous artist tag-named ‘The Key’ has messaged The Standard to claim responsibility for the mural, which includes his tag.

‘The Key’ has also claimed responsibility for the Stump mural featuring King Kong, and the three versions of the moonwalking stormtrooper.

This latest graffiti piece comes just a day after The Standard brought you news of the image of a baby reading a book on street art done by a second ‘Banksy’.

Unlike the others in the town, this was painted on a wooden board instead of stencil spray-painted on to a wall.
