The 129th Lincolnshire Show will take place on Wednesday June 19 and Thursday June 20 from 8am to 6pm.

Organisers are delighted to announce Her Royal Highness The Countess of Wessex will be making a visit to this year’s Lincolnshire Show on the Thursday.

Jayne Southall, director of the Lincolnshire Agricultural, Society said: “Her presence will be a great privilege for the show and the county of Lincolnshire.”

Throughout the two-day event there is plenty for everyone to see, do, take part in and eat.

Agriculture remains at the heart of the Lincolnshire Show with livestock and equine competitions, machinery displays and the opportunity not only to find out where your food comes from but to taste a lot of it too.

Expect cooking demonstrations from TV chef Rachel Green and Dominic Franks, vintage vehicle displays, floral decoration and flower shows, a sporting showcase, main ring entertainment and demonstrations, plenty of retail therapy, live music and much, much more.

Mike Catt, England rugby player and coach, will be appearing at the show as Clydesdale Bank’s ‘sports personality’.

He will be coaching a local team, meeting fans and trying his hand at the rugby simulator brought in to help show visitors and rugby enthusiasts practise their kicking.

For thrill-seekers, show sponsors Duckworth will be offering a Land Rover experience with a purpose-built off road course.

A bus will travel throughout the 200 acres of Showground on both days. This will offer visitors a fun and relaxing way for the whole family to see the show.

Aviation fanatics will be treated to a number of air displays including a demonstration from The Red Arrows and a spectacular fly-past from the Battle of Britain Memorial Dakota aircraft.

There is even something for your pets, with the Jerry Green Dog Crèche returning with a team of expert dog handlers offering fresh water and food, space to roam and shaded areas for any visiting four-legged friends.
