MAGIC was in the air at Boston’s West End cinema as Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part Two broke all records for an opening weekend.
Almost 4,000 viewers went along to see the blockbuster over 17 showings during three days.
It broke the record previously held by Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, which was at cinemas in July 2009.
Alan Warner, assistant manager at the cinema, said: “The majority of the screenings were full.”
The film is the last in the Harry Potter saga.
