Critically acclaimed modern rock and blues power band Absolution make their debut at Boston’s Blackfriars Theatre and Arts Centre this week.
The award-winning trio perform in the Revue Bar of the Spain Lane venue on Friday, at 7.30pm.
It follows a successful tour across UK and Europe which included a set at the Culemborg Blues festival in the Netherlands.
The band are signed with Blues Boulevard Records and the latest album, Dusty Road, was released in September 2014, going on to peak at number four in the Amazon UK Blues Chart. A follow-up, third studio album is due in the Autumn.
They have won praise from the press, both in the UK and overseas, with such comments as ‘one of the most promising bands around!’ and ‘exceptional musicianship!’.
The band also took home two awards from the 2013 WRC Awards - ‘Ones To Watch’ and ‘Best Guitar Solo’.
Tickets to the show are priced at £10, with a ‘refurbishment’ levy of 50p will be added to each ticket.
