Hollyoaks heartthrob set to be next Assembly Rooms visitor

The next celebrity to grace the Assembly Rooms has been named as Hollyoaks actor Andy Moss, who plays Rhys Ashworth on the Channel Four soap.

The heart-throb who starred on the show for seven years, died in 2012, but recently returned as part of its latest storyline, will appear at the Market Place venue on Saturday, July 19, for the clubs Summer Champagne Party.

Andy’s character is no stranger to the explosive Hollyoaks style relationships with several on screen parnerships including Sarah Barnes, Hayley Ramsey, Jacqui McQueen and Cindy Cunningham.

His time on the show first came to a tragic end on November 15, 2012, during the double wedding of Cindy and Tony and Ste and Doug. A tragic accident led to him being crushed by a girder.

However, in the latest twist in the Hollyoaks story line is back from the dead and returning to the not so quiet suburb as a side effect of Cindy Cunningham’s Bipolar disorder.

When he takes to the Assembly Rooms he will be hosting the event with a meet and greet and photo opportunity available.

Organisers have said this Champagne party is sure to be the biggest Saturday of the Summer for them.
