The countdown is well and truly on for this year’s Framfest, with now just over a week to wait until the popular family music festival returns.

The event will take place on Saturday, June 25, in the field next to St Mary’s Church, Frampton.

It is organised by the Friends of Frampton Churches, a charity set up to raise funds for the maintenance of the two churches in Frampton. Since its formation in 2012, the group has raised more than £30,000 towards its cause.

A spokesman for the event said: “New to the line-up this year are Phatt Knappi, The Amazing Armadillos, The Manipulators and Status Quote, who will be appearing alongside event favourites The Ultraviolet, 50 Sniffs, Phoebe Ophelia, The Vigilantes, Paul Green and Endeavour Radio Dance Department.

“As usual there will be plenty for all the family, including fairground rides, an array of food stalls, vintage stalls and a licensed bar.”

Doors will open at 1pm, with the music starting at 2pm and continues until 9pm.

Entrance is by wristband, priced at £5 for adults and those aged over 11, £1.50 for four-11-year-olds, and free for under fours.

Wristbands available from: Jayne Rush Hair Salon, in Station Road, Kirton; Reflections Hair Salon, in Saundergate Lane, Wyberton; PJL Recruitment, in Pen Street, Boston; and
