Gliderdrome gig Beatles tribute and mod classics set to rock the Gliderdome’s Starlight Room

The sounds of the swinging ‘sixties will return to the Gliderdrome later this month.

The dance venue’s next show has been announced- and it will include two tribute acts who have their roots firmly in one of Britain’s most exciting musical decades.

The Modern Affair and The Fab4 will both share the stage at the Starlight Room on Saturday, March 28.

The Fab4 claim to be one of the best bands recreating the sounds of The Beatles.

They also have the honour of being the first band invited to play at the Paul McCartney Auditorium at the Liverpool Academy of Performing Arts.

The Modern Affair play Mod tunes of the 60s, from groups such as The Kinks, The Small Faces and The Who.

Tickets are now on sale at £15 each from The Gliderdrome, Spain Place, Boston at bingo sessions after 7pm and Wednesday afternoons (noon-3.30pm) or by calling 01205 367919; Burgess, Thompson & Richardson, High Street (9am-5pm), Chris Cook Print, Main Ridge East (9am-5pm), Country Gourmet Sandwich Bar & Bistro, Pen Street and the Black Bull, Kirton.
