Wannabe pop stars and classical singers should get down to Blenkin Memorial Hall in Boston tomorrow to hear some top tips from an expert.
Alison Pearce from the Vocal Faculty of the Royal Academy of Music will conduct a masterclass in singing at the Wormgate venue from 9.30am-5.30pm.
Ten local singers will perform two songs of their choice and Miss Pearce will help them to improve their technique and performance.
All styles of music are performed, from baroque to rock, from opera to jazz.
The accompanist is Marc Murray, director of music at the Stump. The day will end with a short concert at approximately 5pm of pieces performed by the participants.
Observers are welcome at the classes with tickets at £10 per day or £6 for a morning or afternoon session.
Alison’s classes are described as ‘entertaining and enlightening’, and she always finds some way to improve and encourage the singer. So come and hear what she has to say about performance and technique in a safe and friendly environment.
