There is an impressive line-up of acts set to play at Boston’s Gliderdrome over the coming weeks.
From Motown legends - to top tribute acts including Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston - these are shows not to be missed.
First up, on Saturday, February 27, is The Drifters who were one of the most popular bands to play the Gliderdrome in the ‘60s and ‘70s. Their latest show will feature all their hits including Save The Last Dance For Me, Up On The Roof, Under the Boardwalk and Saturday Night At The Movies.
This show will see the Gliderdrome host The American Drifters, who promise to recall memories from the era when the originals were one of the world’s top groups. Soul Intention will be the support act.
Then on Saturday, March 26, Navi the ‘King of Pop’ will perform a show any Michael Jackson fan would be crazy to miss. He will be supported by Nya King as Whitney Houston (pictured).
Tickets for both shows are £15 (£20 on the door) available from the Gliderdrome on bingo nights, among other local businesses. Call the Gliderdrome on 01205 367919 for more details.
