GET ready to rock out to old classics and powerhouse ballads at Blackfriars Theatre tonight (Friday) with a show full of American spirit.
The Spain Lane venue will be hosting Born in the USA, which promises to be the ultimate dream rock spectacular.
With a playlist packed full of number ones and anthems, the touring show features an amazing cast of musicians from all over the UK, who boast combined professional experience as diverse as it is distinguished.
The show comprises of seven cutting-edge performers, and promises a trip through the iconic American rock era of music in the 1970s, ‘80s and early ‘90s.
The cast are Dee Dowling on lead vocals and guitar, Charlie May as female lead singer, Neil Rigg with guitar and vocals, Luke Wade on keyboard and vocals, Chase Roxx on vocals and guitar, Richard Murray on bass and Warren Smithson on drums and brass.
The show’s starting point is a tribute to Bruce Springsteen, Bryan Adams and Tina Turner.
It then moves into what organisers call a ‘melting pot of great songs and styles’ from many of the great American rock artists of the time including Journey, Aerosmith, Kiss, Van Halen, Bon Jovi, Starship, Suzi Quattro and David Lee Roth.
